Goals and missions of the Lab
The mission of the Laboratory is to provide reliable and valid knowledge enabling us to understand and increase the wellbeing and effectiveness of working people in the face of the growing role of technology in the modern workplace. We pursue this goal by conducting experimental and observational research in the area of work and organizational psychology, with a particular emphasis on the impact of artificial intelligence, robots, and social media on human functioning at work.
The Laboratory operates within the Department of Work and Organizational Psychology, Faculty of Psychology and Cognitive Science, Adam Mickiewicz University. We conduct research on human–robot interaction, wellbeing and anxiety related to AI, the impact of social media on recovery, and the application of AI in psychometrics and research methodology. The Laboratory actively participates in international research projects and is open to collaboration with researchers from around the world. It also serves as a teaching space for students of the Faculty.
